On 25.03.26, a courtesy meeting was held at the initiative of Her Excellency Gabriela Moraru, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Czech Republic, in Prague. At the same time, a working meeting took place between BPW Czech Republic and BPW Moldova, hosted by BPW Czech Republic, with representatives of the international European network.
During the meeting, several topics were discussed, including equal pay rights between women and men. The meeting at the Embassy took place on the eve of the XVII edition of EPD in the Czech Republic, supported by the CEI.
The main purpose of the visit was to obtain support from the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Czech Republic for the Czech-UNDP Partnership for SDGs project, approved and supported by the Czech Challenge 2025 Fund, and to be implemented jointly by BPW Czech Republic and BPW Moldova. The official launch of this project took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Czech Republic, thanks to the generous support of H.E. Gabriela Moraru.
On the following days, March 26–27, the EPD International Conference took place. Speakers, mentors, guests, and participants all wore an element of red clothing, including Eva Primus, President of BPW Czech Republic, and Ingrid Surova, coordinator of the Equal Pay Day project. Representatives from approximately 20 countries participated in the event.
