BPW Moldova official started in March 2026 project PANDORA. Project scope –Pilot ACCELERATOR for Female Entrepreneurs, titled “Introducing Innovative AI/Digital facilitation and Export readiness in Moldova”. The program focuses specifically on developing business on an international scale. The primary goal is to strengthen the position of Moldovan women entrepreneurs through effective planning and the use of modern technologies, thereby increasing their competitiveness in international markets.
The key pillars and innovations of the program include: a) Tailored. Education: Curricula are sensitively adapted to the specifics and current needs of the Moldovan market. b) AI and Digital Transformation: Implement action of modules focused on utilizing artificial intelligence and digital tools in daily business practice. c) Export strategy: intensive preparation for successful expansion beyond Moldova’s borders and entry into EU markets. d) Inclusion and Accessibility: The online format ensures the involvement of women from remote rural areas, targeting at least 20% of participants. e) SDG Commitment: The project actively contributes to SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Grow).
A fundamental aspect of the project is its sustainability. Through a “Train the Trainer” model, Czech experts will transfer their expertise to local Moldovan facilitators, ensuring they can continue educating further entrepreneurs after the formal conclusion of the project.
The first phase of project involves a Ceremony at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Prague with the ambassador Gabriela MORARU. Also we had a meeting with Barbora Charvátová, Development and Economic Attaché, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Chişinău and Ingrid Surova, manager of project, presented the current project status and potential future collaborations between Moldovan and Czech women’s organizations.
Following this, we visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova. Mihai Bilba, Vice-President of the Chamber, gave an engaging presentation on their activities, ongoing projects, and future initiatives in Moldova. He also proposed potential collaboration opportunities with Eva Primus Kovandová, President BPW Czech, director of Chamber of Commerce Prag 1 in this field.
BPW Moldova, by statute, maintains strong collaborations with Chambers of Commerce from various countries, and today was a fantastic step forward in strengthening these international ties.
This project is realized by BPW Czech in partnership with BPW Moldova. With support by the UNDP and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The project will end on March 2027.
