Children from kindergarten “Andries”Horodiste, raion Calarasi received (on 13 january,2020) a gift from Santa. These are tables for methodical activities. The donation came from the Association of Professional and Business Women of Moldova, with the generos support of GNRC International, at the request of the mayor of Horodiște, Petru Ciobanu. The kindergarten in Horodiște was founded in 1984. Of course, the furniture was very old and destroyed, and such a donation was expected and very welcome.
The modern furniture is modeled according to the needs of the activity organized in the kindergarten. A table can be divided into four individual tables, of different colors where the child can work quietly. Moreover, each table is modeled and fixed according to the child’s height. As for books, we brought encyclopedia with title in the animal world with quatrains, riddles, curiosities and colorful drawings, written by me.
This gift was enjoyed not only by the little ones in the kindergarten, but also by the staff of the pre-school education institution. Children really like it, because they are attractive, but most importantly, they are comfortable. We will not have problems with the back of the children, because they will feel comfortable. Children have a place to put a book, a sheet of paper, a pencil and work individually, the kindergarten director Raisa Bosuntea told us.
The kindergarten in Horodiște is attended by about 60 children. The latest census shows that about two thousand people live in the village. Previously, there were over 3500 inhabitants.
