celebrating of the 10th anniversary of the Interfaith Initiative of Arigatou International to end child poverty under the Campaign theme, “All Out to End Child Poverty: Looking Back, Forging Ahead”.
We signeted a collaboration agreement with the Horodiste town hall in the Calarasi district. It is a poor region, located far from the highway and practically has no infrastructure (water, sewage), but they have many children. With the beginning of the war, refugee families from Ukraine also came here. Taking into account that there are many children and they don’t have a playground, we decided on a long-term project. That is, let’s set up a small town for children with different equipment, inclusiv: swings, carousels, multifunctional house, slides, etc. Initially, all the equipment was purchased and then installed in LA IZVOR Park and named the Children’s Park. The official opening was Sunday, July 25, 2022. After the opening ceremony, the children received gifts (various chocolates, biscuits, fruits, books).
