On 20 April, 2023 Association of Professional and Business Women from Moldova with the generous support of GNRC “All for children” made a donation of a piano for the School of Arts in Ciorescu. About 400 students (from 5 old till 16 years) study in the school in different circles.
For more than 40 years, the school has not been equipped with musical instruments and is using old instruments that do not meet the requirements. The lack of financial means to support the arts in the Republic of Moldova did not allow the procurement of new tools, so necessary for the development of the culture and national values of the young generation. The teachers told that they rebuild a new one from three or four very old instruments, just so that the children have an instrument to play/practice on.
Both the teaching staff of the institution led by the director Natalia Nihelman, as well as the children from the School of Arts thanked from the bottom of their hearts for this generous gift. Moreover, the event took place on Easter. All the emotions and thanks of the children smoothly went into a concert of the soul that brought together several religious denominations (Baptists, Evangelists, Christians).
Thus, the long-awaited piano was received with warmth, love and curiosity by both children, teachers and parents, whose children attend this school of arts.
