BPW Moldova (Association of Business and Professional Women from Moldova) participated in the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum Summit 2025, held in Brussels on December 2–4, 2025.
During the summit, BPW Moldova was represented by Ludmila Caraman, who delivered a presentation titled “Supporting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: Development Potential and Structural Risks.” The presentation highlighted the role of SMEs in economic development and the challenges they face in the current geopolitical context.
BPW Moldova engaged in discussions with decision-makers, donors, and civil society representatives on regional cooperation, sustainable development, and the protection of civic space. The organization also took part in donor-focused sessions, emphasizing the need for innovative funding mechanisms and cross-border cooperation to strengthen civil society in Moldova and across the Eastern Partnership region.
The delegation attended the 2025 EaP Civil Society Award Ceremony at the Belgian Senate, in the presence of EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, as well as a networking reception at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU.
BPW Moldova’s participation reaffirms its commitment to inclusive economic growth, support for entrepreneurs, and resilient civic spaces.
