Debate about combating children violence

On 15.11.2017 Association Professional Women organized by GNRC support the Debate with students from VII - IX chassis, there discussed about combating children violence, specially sexual violence. It is art debate and develop in four different schools from Falesti, with participation of Police agent, and discussed about combating violence but in playing form by LTLT manual. Also student to learn art communication. Children visited church there children in vulnerable situation received social services.

On 10.11.2017 With generous support of GNRC, Association organized Round table with generic: "Positive parenting and the protection of children from violence " part of project "Ending Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of Children" . In round table to welcome guests was teachers, educators, social workers, agent from police and students, total 40 persons.

Authorities and NGOs work together to prevent and combat violence and child abuse

On 16 October was organised the briefing.

About the actions taken by central and local authorities and intersectoral collaboration on preventing and combating violence against children, including sexual violence, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Stela Grigoraş, Minister of Education, Culture and Research Monica Babuc and Minister of Internal Affairs Alexandru Jizdan in a press briefing.

The action has taken place as a result of several cases of violence against children in the last period, which have led to discussions in society and which are of interest to the general public

Stela Grigoraş presented at the event the actions of the ministry together with central and local public authorities, development partners and civil society on the prevention of child abuse and the elaboration of the legal framework for the protection of children.

On 3 October, 2017, Association of Professional Women of Moldova made the totals of the national drawing contest entitled "I have the right to a decent life!", dedicated to poverty. This contest was announced at country level in May 2017, immediately after the Panama Declaration during 5th Panama Forum (9-11 May, 2017). Was attended by children aged between 7 and 16 years, according to the Contest Rules.

Challenged by the global epidemic of violence against children, we, leaders and members of the world’s religious and spiritual traditions, girls and boys, women and men, from 70 countries, together with representatives of governments, the United Nations, and international and grassroots organizations, met in Panama City, Panama for the 5th Forum of the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), from 9-11 May 2017.
